What was the highlight of La Plage Casadelmar
A lovely hotel but not the five star experience we expected and paid for.
A beautiful quiet setting. Very comfortable rooms and polite and friendly staff.
The service of hot breakfast food was slow, as was the service of drinks at the beach. The restaurant was average and certainly didn’t justify its well above average pricing. The beach furniture was tired, one rusty bed snapped in my hand when adjusting it. The private beach area is lovely, but we found it very windy, even when beaches a very short distance away were not.

Nice but disappointing in parts
The location is great, situated on the beach, its the perfect place to unwind. The rooms are also beautiful - you do feel like your in a little oasis.
I felt the food really let the hotel down, the food was just not good. For the price you would expect a better menu. The menu does not change and therefore you are eating the same thing for lunch and dinner. Some variety in the menu would be good. I also felt the staff let our stay down. The receptionist was nice but the place felt empty. It took me over 20 minutes to order a bottle of water - not what you expect from a 5* hotel.
